translations of Scriptural books
on: July 12, 2005, 05:03:03 PM
so I was doing this study on Bible translations. It got me curious. Are the different translations of other "holy" religious books. I know that someone tried to create a different translation of the koran and he was considered nuts and I think he was kicked out of his country (that sentence looks real screwed up structurally, but I am too lazy to figure out how to fix it). what about other religions? Are there different translations?
