world's worst math teacher
on: July 19, 2005, 10:05:56 PM
My fiance was signing up for her math class. Well, the counselor strongly advised her not to take a certain teacher. Apparently he gives HANDWRITING grades in a math class. Also if your numbers are not lined up perfectly, the problem is wrong. He has a 10 percent pass rating. getting an A is unheard of.

Smart man! Those are common tactics to keep students away in order to keep teaching to a minimum. I should know. ;D

easy way of getting fired also. He has been underreview from the texas school board on several occassions. If you are being unbelievably unbearable you can loose your job. His motto is something along the lines of, "I am tired of these pathetic students coming and thinking they know math. I am going to show them what real math is."

Scary

I always thought that the real math wasn't actually taught in most classrooms, that we just crunched numbers and followed directions.
