Liszt's perfect etude

has anyone heard this piece? I just listened to the midi. It is pretty cool. Pretty dark sounding. definately not easy. they say the name is ab_irato or something like that.

yup. sounds like a pretty fun piece to play too. not that long either around 2:30 min.

only thing I know is download the midi and convert to sheet music. Other than that either buy it or sweetalk someone hear into giving it.

There were 2 previous versions of the Transcendental Etudes and 1 of the Pag Etudes.

Well worth a look. I think the 1838 version of the Transcendental Etudes (they were not called Transcendental then) are better but more difficult.

there is a rumor that Hamelin will record those earlier sets. I would really like to get my hands on them if this is true.
