My most honest recommendation is not on the market yet  ;) he he

I actually only have ashkenazy's, so I am only writing in to agree that there are probably more out there that would be interesting and I am interested as well.  I have heard only one recording of another (of one prelude) and that was Valentina Lisitsa's.  Pretty cool.

I must say that Ashkenazy's versions are the best I've heard. I'd love to hear Rachmaninoff himself play them...

That is what I was about to post: You can hear him play some of his Preludes here:
 Recordings: https://classic.manual.ru/Rachmaninov-performer/Rach_Prel.html
«Ampico» Rolls: https://classic.manual.ru/Rachmaninov-performer/Ampico/Rach_Prel.html
The composer playing his pieces, absolutely great... His recordings are some of my favorites, as well as the Ampico Rolls.
Ashkenazy's and Nikolai Demidenko's are pretty good, as well as videos of Valentina Igoshina, she does a great job.  ;)

I thought Ashkenazy's were very good, but Richter's better. (I'd have dearly loved to hear his complete set). I wasn't particularly convinced by Ogdon's. I've also heard a recording by Peter Katin, which I didn't fancy at all.

If you can get it frm somewhere...... Irina Smorodinova, on Melodiya.....I CAN GUARANTEE THAT THERE IS NO BETTER RECORDING !
P.S. I've heard Richter, Ashkenazy, Mei ting.....and none of them come close. Perhaps only Richter, in a few of them.

Ashkenazy and Martha Deyanova

I like Dmitri Alexeyev. Hey, can anyone tell me if Robert Silverman has recorded them? I know he has an LP of the 2nd sonata, but I'm not sure what else he's recorded by Rachmaninov.
