I was at a piano recital recently and had the privilege to speak with the soloist. He made a comment that I thought was interesting.

"Music is not hard, it is simply notes, some faster, some slower, some louder, some softer. Some music might take longer to learn, but it isn't hard, patience is the hard part. Any piece of music can be learned with enough time."

What do you think?

mmmm.  I guess you could say basketball isn't hard.  It's just bounce the ball, throw the ball, run here, run there, block once in awhile.  In time anyone could learn. it.

I agree. Of course, you must also be creative, imaginative and this will not depend neccessarily on patience.

I partially referred to this in the thread: Talent... is there really such a thing.
