Well thanks.  I really appreciate how he doesn't play half Chopin and instead uses his time on some less popular pieces.

  I was so taken with some of the changes he made on the concert recording (from 1966, I think), I copied many of them (adding some of my own textual emendations as well).  The original version, is, of course, wonderful too.

I hate the way most people play Valee de Obermann.


Always too rushed......... never enough color.

I have had one person's impretation who I liked, and he was from my school, a violin major with piano minor.

He played it beautifully.

That piece is brilliant and underrated.
