Yay. I didn't realize it'd be live. Now I have something else to distract me from my work. :)

We are leaving Saturday for Cleveland to attend the second week of the competition.  It is so fantastic!  The last two nights end at Severance Hall with the top four pianists performing concertos with the Cleveland Orchestra.  It looks like the website has live video performances.  Go to the Cleveland International Piano Competition website and you can watch the live webcast.  The times are at 1:00 and 7:00pm.  It also lists all of the competitors, their bios and their programs.

All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
