Need for certificate
on: July 21, 2003, 04:51:52 PM
Hello all.
I oive in Florida where I've been teaching piano in private for a little more than 2 years. I've studied piano in different places, but as I never planned tolive from it, I never tried to go to any exam or get any kind of diploma. My level is, you could say, early advanced.
I'd like to get some sort of certificate for recognition from the professional music environment and for higher respect and reputation among my current or future students.
Do you know any certification that I can get in my area? Without going to college for 2 years, of course... You know, like passing a music theory test and playing a couple of pieces to check if I can teach properly.

BuyBuy you can check your piano dealers there or some music stores to ask if there are any music organizations there, just like there's LCM in britain and RCM in Canada, I think there should be one in Florida
