Okay, I know the show's already over, but which character of Friends is your favourite and why? ;D

Mine's Chandler, he's so funny and his sarcastic jokes are brilliant ;D Although I like Joey a lot too, he's kinda cute ;)

Oh thank God! Me neither, i just never found it funny whilst the rest of my generation was obsessed with it. I just don't find American sitcoms that funny, i prefer the more bizarre British humour - Fast Show/Little Britain/Office/Spaced/League of Gentlemen/Vic and Bob/French and Saunders/Monty Python etc etc...

Without a doubt, Chandler.  Sarcastic, insecure.  What can I say, I identified!  ;D

What you are doing watching Friends? Go practise! ;D

[Rachiel hottie? Only if you think Barbra Streisand is hottie - they could easily be mother and daughter. And I am with Sketopotamus. Watch Seinfeld instead. Friends is just a lame, washed out rewriting of it >:(].

Best wishes,
Bernhard.

I've been saying this for years now - Friends and Sienfield have nothing in common with one another.  The humor is totally different, the atmosphere is different, the characters are different and certainly the plots are different.   If there is a show that Friends derives from, it is probably most heavily influenced by Cheers.  But seriously, the debate between Friends and Sienfield often reminds me of some debates on this forum between the merits of Chopin and Liszt (not that sitcoms are like composers.....).  The real point is, why pick between two totally different shows when you can enjoy both (I do).

Frankly, I love Sienfield, but the plot of almost every episode is so predictable!  Something good happens to the characters, the characters become foolish or get bad luck, and in the end they lose whatever good came to them and often more.

BTW, my favorite character is Phoebe.

(I also happen to be a big sitcom nut.  I own 9 seasons of Friends, 4 seasons of Sienfield, 5 seasons of Frasier, 3 seasons of Will and Grace, 3  seasons of Family guy, and 2 seasons of Futurama on DVD)

Seinfeld is much more entertaining :) each of the characters have a totally different personality (its funny they get on :p, or do they), my favourite is either Elaine or George. (just completely change the thread), and I voted for Joey because he's the least annoying =) and probably phoebs

yes go practice!

Well character-wise, you can't beat Joey in my very humble opinion. And, his facial expressions are just priceless. But then again, Jennifer Aniston... *drools*

The Pheebster of course! If only for being the musician she is! ;) I'm working on a theme and variations on "smelly cat", I think it's up there with the diabelli set! :P 8)

Any favourite moments from the show?
