I only go in if i see someone else is in.

So, if everyone thinks the same, there will never be anyone in chat.

Time for another scotch perhaps.

The only time I can enter the chat during the week is in the late evening and that time is too early for most of the Europeans and too late for the Americans. I could go in on the weekends but I am usually busy doing other things - playing the piano for one. It isn't that the novelty has worn off; I didn't use it much even when it first started.

I second this!  I didn't want to start a new thread, so I'm using this one to say it is August, 15th, 2005, and 7:30 on the west coast of North America.  Get it the chat room, someone and SPEAK TO ME!  Please?

is it like the pamela anderson roast on tv the other night?  (wasn't going to waste my time, but accidentally saw 1-2 minutes)  what a terrible way to end a career.

now if you are a pianist, and you get roasted in front of 10-15 people for not knowing who composed what piece or what musical event happened on this day - you cannot be as anonymous.  everyone starts knowing you are musical idiot.  despite postings that give you the ability to edit if you make a mistake.  quick edits are nice, but even if you remember something hours later, you can fix it and not be a COMPLETE idiot.

i've found that it's most popular in Australian eastern time or whatever it is around 1.30-2.30ish, which is now, whatever time it is 04.23 says the pf clock. and i generlaly only go in if there's several people in there and i feel like wasting time. unlike now where i should really go do some work...

I will have to say that the chat does go off into some very strange tanjents at times and that is what i love about it i use this place to chill out and take a break from the trappings of modern life, and it does not bother me one bit what people think to what I write or say as I have health wealth and happieness on my side, and there are much more important things in life to wory about, just the other day I watched a young boy who had his leg blown off in the London bombings, and he didn't even hate the people who were responsible I mean to lose a limb and not be a little miffed off, I have no right to complain about anything. but some people make it there life ambition to make other peoples lives a misery. I know that I am a little unorthodox in well everything like when I wrote the thread ( are you beautifull or ugly) It could come accross as being hostile, but I was in absolute hysterics while i was writing it, I suppose some people are interesting and some people are not some people have some thing to say and some people are a little more reserved in there oppinions what mood people are in but if you want me to go in to the chat room I will be there and you won't get a serious conversation out of me even if you plead for it lol.

Oh darn there is no one in there I suppose I wall come back later LOVE CHAT

We could better use irc for chat. I'm sure Nils is able to put up an irc server, and if needed, I can write an tutorial on how to use it.

Agreed 150%. IRC would be a much better option than flash-based chat for all. I'd be more than willing to help out on a tutorial also.
