overall timing in this piece can often be misleading too. Skepto i assume you are looking for a recording with the fastest technical parts. of the recordings i've heard the 3 that stand out are (all live):

yundi li from verbier france
Horowitz and Argerich have the fastest prestissimo octaves, but can be lacking in other passages.
howard must surely have rushed the slow parts to achieve his 24min timing. you cant possible compete on technique doing a 94cd project.
