It hasn't been released yet.
There were only 100 review copies released. At least that is what a friend told me. I heard it was very neo-romantic.
At least that is what I heard.

You spelled the composer's name wrong.
And there isn't one.

Alzado, you are incorrect.
You must be confused with Paderewski.

Krzysztof is his first name which is a serious pregnant dog. a lot of composers have nasty names
Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji
Eino-Juhani Rautavaara
Krzysztof Penderecki
Karlheinz Stockhausen
Galina Ustvolskaya
etc....... and Paderewski DID write a piano concerto XD

Einojuhani Rautavaara is by far the most stunning name I ever saw.

yeah.
Rautavaara is a powerful sounding name. Alot of composers have names that are kind of intimidating.
Berg
Xenakis
Rautavaara
Avalon
Rachmaninov
I always say Scriabin like SCRY-uh-bin just because it sounds so cool that way.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but has anyone heard anything new about this concerto? I would love to take a look at the score or hear some of it if anything has transpired.

It DOES exist! He wrote it in 2001/2 and subtitled it Resurrection. I have Barry Douglas' recording on the Polskie Radio label. It's in his neo-romantic style--not as memorable as some of his pieces, but it has some powerful moments. This CD also has Concerto Grosso for Three Cellos written in 2000.
