1986 Wurlitzer Upright
on: July 23, 2003, 09:09:13 PM
Hi all,

A question about a piano value that I want to buy - Wurlitzer. A dealer has a price tag for $1600. The model is P250 and I checked the serial number and it was made in 1986, Dekalb, IL.
This piano looks like new with several insignificant touch-ups on the wood.

Thanks in advance.

- Sean

NOOOOO!!!!!!! i've never heard anything good about wurlitzer......that is, unless ur a beginner pianist, in which case i wouldn't spend any more than $1000....i would look into yamaha if ur looking 4 a good upright.
rach on!

I have a spinet one (about 20 years old!!)that I am trying to get rid of LOL!  The only plus I can say about it is the way it stays in tune.  I asked the piano tech when he thought the last time I had it tuned.  He said 3 years??? It was more like 8 or 9!!! I know I know not good maintainence.   :)
If you like to just pluck out little tunes then by all means get it(offer a lot less than that ;D)  Hope this helps.
