i have decided to pick this essay question for my baroque music major essay

4. Discuss how J.S. Bach’s Magnificat exemplifies characteristics of baroque music
And compare 2 recordings in order to comment on how a particular interpretation can enhance or obscure these stylistic features. In other words your essay should address the characteristics of baroque music with particular reference to the specific composition and its genre. question is, can anyone recommend me a really good recording of the magnificat that really tries to be as close to baroque 'authenticity' you can get to? and recommendations of any books that would have bril info would be fabo, thanks all!!
