Now I'm no "trekkie"

But the idea of the holodeck always fascinated me...

Where would you go first if you had a holodeck

i would hook it up to a visual interface through the warp drive so i could go any where in the universe at will

You could join Mr. Barkley.  The lazer lights from the interface to the brain were pretty cool. 
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
