for us frequent posters, we sort of feel like we know eachother, but there are so many things we dont know about eachother.
some obviously cannot be told, and some are private, but are there any surprising or interesting facts about you guys that we would never have guessed?

ill start by dropping a bombshell - i am a virgin (youd never guess huh? )

other interesting(maybe not..) facts about me -
i am agnostic
i procrastinate FAR too much, too much thinking and not enough doing
i have a mental disorder that i was diagnosed with when i was 14

ok, so not terribly positive stuff, but im not ashamed of any of them.

surprising?  i think nothing - because i talk a lot.  that's the problem with talking too much.  you're not a mystery anymore.

ok.  i already told siberian husky this, i may as well tell everyone.  i can't work computers very well.  i can't even get pics up without help.  i can't make my mouse move (i mean my little pics of mice).  it's so frustrating.  sometimes i just want to bash the computer - but then again - maybe i should just break down and take a class (but i'd rather take ballroom dancing).

maybe another surprising thing would be that my children are really spaced apart.  i have one in highschool (16) one in middle school (soon to be 11) and one who's turning three in september.  it's kinda good for me because each child has been like an only child - but they aren't really doing the same things all the time.  thus a trip to the library over here (for story time, then a trip to the dmv or doctor to check on getting driving permit, and then volleyball practice).  i've learned to relax and not have a list of stuff to do that's written down (necessarily) - i just get done whatever gets done and leave the rest for tommorrow.  used to stay up late, but what's the use?!

maybe the last surprising thing is that i like being in my fourties better than any other age.  i finally have some opinions of my own (instead of nodding with everyone else's), i don't feel bad about going and doing things for myself once ina while, and i'm generally taking care of myself better.  (what will happen to me at menopause?  will i freak out - will i become a walking furnace?  will my heart palpitate irregularly.  will all of this good feeling fourty be lost in blur of phychological turmoil - recounting negativites from 20 years ago?  will i need hormone replacement.)  i will not think about this now since i am not feeling bad.  why should i expect to feel bad?  the only thing i have to watch now is my back.  occasionally it complains.  but, my fingers are really quick.

Because of my albinism, my hair turns different colors in chlorinated water
A lot of chlorine makes it blue and less makes it turn green. My eyes turn red in the dark whenever a light is shined into them (like a flashlight for example) In my yearbook photo it looks like my hair is fused into my head because my hair and skin are pracically the exact same shade of white. Who says your problems don't have their benefits?

I harbour no surprises as an adult. What you see (and hear) is what you get. When I started school at six I decided I didn't like it and laid the teacher out with a swift punch to the solar plexus, for which act I stood in the rubbish bin for a day. I received beltings from the teacher for lifting the skirts of all the girls in the playground. I once received six strokes with a leather belt from the opera singer Donald McIntyre when he was a primary school teacher years ago - again for alleged indecencies in the classroom. I declared my atheism and contempt for all religion at the age of eight and was ridiculed and abused by teachers and most pupils in consequence. My closest friends in early primary school are still my closest friends now.
