Certain Hungarian Rhapsody N.2 recording
on: August 28, 2005, 09:05:19 PM
I've posted this on the google boards a while back, but I didn't get any help (not that I ever) and I wondered if anybody here can take a crack at this.  Anyway, here's the original post:

Quick question.  I have an mp3 of Hungarian Rhapsody n.2 by Liszt
I got a while back on napster.  I'm sure many people actually have this
mp3.  Anyway, whats special about this recording is that right before
the main Friska/Tempo Giusto-vivace theme (where the repeated notes
are), it actually plays this theme in the left hand, akin to the
Horowitz Transcription.  Also, when the right hand plays the fast
scales near the end, it has the 'brioso assai' theme in the left hand,
akin to the Horowitz transcription as well.  It also has no cadenza.  I
just wanted to know who's the one who performs this? Maybe its an
edited version perhaps?

This is the mp3 you can still find on most p2p programs.  I really want to know who plays it.  Thanks

Here's a low quality version of the mp3:

https://www.sendmefile.com/00062082

If that doesn't work, go to www.sendmefile.com and enter 00062082 as the file id.
