captain's log
on: August 29, 2005, 02:53:44 AM
OMG i just found out that he wasnt talking about a random PIECE OF WOOD
i always thought he was talking to a random log!
confusing, besides that, star trek was pretty hilarious
spock was always logical, and would say things are illogical alot
scotty was also hilarious, he was the engineer guy who randomly died recently, but fathered a child at the age of about 80
it was really funny how scotty was supposed to be the engine expert, but captain kirk always knew the true limits of the engines better
typical conversation between kirk and scotty-
kirk - kick it into warp factor 6 scotty!!
scotty - i CANT DOOO IT CAPTAIN
kirk - we do this on every episode and im always right, just DO IT
scotty - i CANT DOOOOOOOO IT CAPTAIN!!!
kirk - do it
scotty - BUT SHE CANT TAKE IT CAPTIAN WE DONT HAVE THA POWAAAAA
kirk - just do it and see what happens
scotty - ok, well i guess it works after all, you were right
kirk - yes, i am always right, and next episode we will go through exactly the same argument
scotty - I CANT DOOOOOOOOOOO IT CAPTAIN
kirk - k
i forgot why i made this topic

more is coming? maybe katrina?
the captain is angry? it reminds me of the verses in the bible that mention 'winds and destruction.' also, ezekiel 33:3 "and he sees the sword coming upon the land, and be blows on the trumpet, and warns the people, (God himself does this, when we don't) then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away...vs. 11 "say to them, ' as I live! declares the Lord God, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back...why will you die..."
it is interesting to me that new orleans is not known for it's modesty. of course, noone can judge another. but, we quiety watch the times, weather destructions, war, terrorism, and all - and know that something is different in our times. a genie has been let out so to speak. it will not be the same anymore. we have to think in terms of prayer, humility, and turning back to God. otherwise, our lives will not have the meaning they were meant to. we might see God as unfair. but, really it is us that have been unfair to Him. He gives us blessings and we curse him. many take His name in vain every day. all of us curse in our actions. we have to repent and call on Him before it is too late.

captains log stardate 10245.0, we have began our investigation in to the loss of cognitive function and crazy goings on at piano world . com. We are yet to make first contact, and are a little excited to this the phenomenon of music, my second officer leutenant commander data is studdying all forms of beroke and classical music to give the piano people a sence of familiarity he will be performing over 200 of the most popular pieces in a 2 day concert which the leutenant memorized in a startling 2 minuites 36.835 seconds, combining our interstella array with the sensor grid we have begun performing a level 1 diagnostic of the hammer action and pedal sections of the keyboard, so far tests still inconlusive.

the tests are inconclusive because the engines are out. data has to do it all in his head.
