What you fear most...

Who do you fear most on this forum...

I would least like to get into a semantic argument with Xvimbi  :P
Or a philosophical argument with Berhard  :o
Or a fist fight with Bouter Boogie  :'(

My greatest fear is spelling corrections by xvimbi.

If that's your biggest fear, then you must lead an extremely blissful existence ;D

By the way, your statement is awkwardly phrased: you could say "My greatest fear is my spelling errors being detected by xvimbi and mercilessly pointed out to my utter embarrassment". Or "My greatet fear is that of being corrected by...". Although one can "fear something", with "fear" being a verb, "fear" as a noun does not work here.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I just love your posts. That was funny.

I don't think i could cope with another wrist rotation or 4th finger illusion post though :D.

I have got a good 4th finger as i do 10mins of trills everyday.

Drowning in a vat of cold custard....or melted chocolate...or pudding.

Suffocating under tons of powdered sugar.

Choking on a pretzel (only applies to dumb guys presidents.)

Oh yeah, and that crazy guy from Jeopardy.  He's always leering at the camera.

Pet-owners worst nightmare: being neutered by your dog.

*** EDIT *** Misread this.  Thought it was just worst fears in general.

Don't you think a dog would be pretty pissed when you neuter him??  They will get revenge one day.

mayla telling all my childhood secrets (how did she know?)

bernhard, disputing something in one or two words.  (i do agree with most everything he says).

koji saying anything more about neanderthals and WB and dawson's creek.

nobody responding to my 'help' sign.  (thankfully people have).

siberian husky not coming back.

a death on the forum (stevie found washed up in florida).

boris beresovsky - found to have taken anything testosterone or steroid pumping like lance armstrong and disqualified.  they didn't take lance's money away did they?  how insane to say he cheated.

Greetings dinosaurtales

Finding out I really am too old to go to music school and it's too late.   :'(

Naw, you're never too old. Age is just a state of mind anyway. 8)

I remember reading not too long ago about an 80 something great grandmother graduating from university with a Bachelor's Degree, who got a standing ovation from all the "kids" when she went up to accept her diploma.

She said that it was 'something I always wanted to do' and although it took her 'quite a few years' to accomplish it, she said with a twinkle, (and I love this...) 'slow and easy did it!'. 8)

Cheers

allthumbs :)

Oh, and Hi AllThumbs!

Thank you and hello to you too, dinosaurtales :)

Your ears must have been burning, as your post came in as I was typing this post. 8)

dinosaurtales, if you want to go to graduate school, start looking into where you might like to go (take your teacher's suggestions if you like, but don't just stop at her word), talk with the professors there.  Find out how responsive they are to you.  If it's going to work out for you, you will surely find just the one!  If you do not find something appealing to you, then it's not what you are looking for afterall and there is something else for you to do.  But, get informed!  And there is no school nor single person that can speak on behalf of all other schools and people.

I fear that all my life is, is someones imagination and that when they wake up, I'll cease to exist....

NAHHHH!!!! Just kidding - That was from a TV Show...

What I fear is Classical Music (in general, not literal) won't be recognised for it's brilliance and it's superiority over Pop Music of today. I fear that the piano and the other instruments will one day not be recognised as serious instruments and that music will not be realised as a way of appreciating music in general, and helping the brain to develop.

What I fear is the standard of Class in Performance will fall and that amature pianists who don't focus on the most intimate and intricate details will become supremely famous, while the great Pianists names will be lost forever.

Thats what I fear...

Or a fist fight with Bouter Boogie  :'(

Why do you mention me in combination with a fist fight? :o I don't really get it :-\

Anyway, what I fear the most on this forum is unwanted and negative attention from other members :-\ For the rest I don't have that much to fear at this forum.
