Bach's Method of Touch....

I came across this fascinating article on the 'net that is essentially a re-print of a 19th century article on Bach's style of keyboard touch (In one of my editorial editions of the inventions (or preludes maybe) the editor mentions something about Bach's peculiar" style of touching the keys.)

It's meant for Clavichord players but I think some of the points are valid for modern piano as well.  Since so many ppl on this forum advocate Bach's  method of teaching, I'd like to hear some comments on the style of playing advocated here, it's relevance to the modern piano, similar or dissimilar things that are mentioned in Bach biographies  and any other observations you guys might have.
