I (being a rabbit in Chinese Zodiac
) believe it's always better to be lucky than smart
what do you think? oh, and if you are smart and lucky, ...then go buy youre parents something nice! They deserve something for the nice pair of genes they gave you.

i feel blessed. i think my parents had common sense, which, imo, is better than a really high iq and they taught me that 'luck' is 99 % hard work.
there have been times that i've wondered about getting certain piano teachers and feel very blessed and oddly wonder how it ever happened considering my average ability. if nothing else, i feel like i have persistence.

Does your piano teacher shine 2 torches at you to get you to sit upright?

If you're smart, you don't need to be lucky.

The dad of a friend of ours says "the harder I work the luckier I get". This tells me it helps to be smart, too!

I'm smart and I also find that I'm lucky... I'm usually in the right place at the right time... but also do the smart thing in that situation
