Genie in the bottle

the genie grants you one wish - that you may go back in time to hear and witness any pianist (composer) playing any one piece - who and what is it?

I don't know the answer to this one yet, but I nearly busted a gut with your title. I thought you were asking for sheets to genie in a bottle. I was going to have to kill you for that one.

I would like to see Beethoven play some Alkan, better yet Beethoven and Liszt in an improvisation duel. that would be sweet.
