pizza question
on: September 06, 2005, 08:03:27 PM
we are having a youth rally at our church soon and are having pizza afterwards. How many slices should we give to each kid? i mean I know that alot of kids can eat a whole pizza, but we are not planning on that. 3 slices per kid sound good?

I can eat two pizzas easily. That is not the point. If you are offering refreshments after a service would you offer 3 or so slices?

Interesting synchronicity reading a thread that describes how fast food makes you feel like crap  - followed by one that's worrying about the amount of said crap to feed to the local kids :D

[I shall bite my tongue - which is probably made of lettuce or something so I'm safe - and not make the observation with being fed crap and the location of the event] ::)

pizza has no sugar in it (that i know of) so it's not THAT bad.  seems like you have an attitude.  what's the real problem?  you've got a bee in your bonnet?

Nothing, I just thought it funny that I'd read those 2 threads in order. One proclaiming some food as poison and the other with a modified version of MPs "Four Yorkshireman" sketch with pizza and ice cream :)

Whatever you do, don't let the kids take the pizza from the box.  3/4 sounds fine, but serve them yourself!

yeah.  you know what happens at birthday parties.  somebody dies over a slice of pizza, or someone is left crying (didn't get any).  meet the pizza delivery guy at the sidewalk and then hold it really high over your head.  throw pieces to the wind.  they'll catch them.
