Briefs.  No sense having the equipment strewn about like some poorly packed camping gear.

i wear the boxers, cuz there is no sense is packing the equipment so tightly.

what sucks is..you came out like a gangsta with such a long elloquent and nicely put together list that tops any other questionaire on the maturity meter...

the thing is..

we're human beings..we are ugly creatures who thrive off social endeavers...these kinds of questionaires dont catch the eye of many simply because it wont tell us the bra size of many PF women..or the favorite alcohol drink of others...or what bernhard's age is..etc etc..

my guess is...80% of the topic viewers...read thoroughly through questions 1-20..then said "f*ck it"...scrolled down fast..and achieved a chuckle at 6 ft 4's witty "boxers" remark....i also fall prey to this theory...

JCarey only had time to answer because he needs to kill time digesting a large meal consisting of venison and pork rolls..

3. favorite prelude: of chopin?  love them all. No. 6 is particularly beautiful (and one of the 'easier' ones, haha)
4. favorite prelude and fugue: atm, Bk 2 No. 15
5. favorite sonata: ..only one????!!!! c'mon.... mozart: k. 310 a minor; beethoven: atm, waldstein; chopin: 2 and 3
6. favorite sonata mvt. atm, beethoven tempest mov. no. 3 (d minor)
7. favorite chamber music piece: atm mendelssohn piano trio no. 1 in d minor
8. favorite etude: hmm.. 25/6. possibly.
9. favorite fantasie: oh man... toss up between Schumann's and Schubert's Wanderer-Fantasie. Both so awesome. Love the romantic tones of Schumann's and the sheer, over the top love of life in Schubert's.
10. favorite opera: Carmen and Fidelio
11. favorite symphony: atm, Tchaikovsky No. 5
12. favorite ballet: Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream & The Nutcraker
13. favorite concerto for instrument other than piano: any one by my Vivaldi
14. favorite movie sound track: What you can't guess? :P LOTR soundtracks- my favorite of the three is the 1st I think (although my favorite theme is the Rohan theme which is introduced in the 2nd; but overall I like the 1st soundtrack (and movie) the best)
15. favorite overall piece: whoa ummm.... for piano that would be umm.... actually probably Chopin 2nd Sonata, many of the mazurkas, and liszt's norma transcription.. among many others. for non-piano.. probably the nutcracker suite.

to save time i will start by answering six or seven and then keep adding daily:

#1 favorite pc - leroy anderson's
#2 favorite waltz - only strauss and only conducted and played by andre riu
#3 favorite prelude - any of the rachmaninov preludes
#4 favorite prelude and fugue - (have to listen again - there's a beautiful slow one by bach - i think #11)
#5 favorite sonata - beethoven's waldstein
#6 favorite sonata movement - ? not sure
#7 favorite chamber music - i haven't heard a lot of chamber music - maybe something baroque?  enlighten me.  maybe i'll go listen to some.
#8 etude -
#9 opera - now that i live on the east coast - it'll take some time to see which one.
#10 fantasy - mozart's in c minor
#11 symphony - beethoven's 9th

3. favorite prelude-  there are many, but i like n.4 e-minor (i think opus 28 but not sure)
4. favorite prelude and fugue-  maybe d-minor, g-minor...(i'm not really familiar with all of them, so can't say)
5. favorite sonata- Chopin 2nd op.35 and Dante fantasia quasi sonata
6. favorite sonata mvt.-1st mvt. chopin op.35 by martha argerich
7. favorite chamber music piece- maybe not favorite, but the funniest i've ever played- bizet carmen arranged for 8 hands  :P

10. favorite opera- i'm rather ignorant when it comes to operas, but i like bizet carmen (maybe because i've played arrangement for pianos so i'm at least familiar with it hahah)
