piano party in Philadelphia
on: September 24, 2005, 01:41:40 AM
Hello, we have some people in Philadelphia, PA who (try to) get to together (semi-)regularly to have piano parties. We eat food, play piano for one another, eat food, chat, and listen to recordings... If you would like to join us, please send me an e-mail at echan3@gradient.cis.upenn.edu.

tried to e-mail you, but the address didn't work.  maybe i'll try again later.

usually am in philly after a piano/symphony concert at the kimmel.  if you have any parties before or after, let me know!  can my hubby come?  he's content to just listen.  would probably bring a book.  (though he can sing really well)

ps let me know when you usually meet and maybe i'll try to make it once and a while.

What a great idea!  I think I will try to organise a piano party in my town.

I can just imagine 100 years ago when musicians, artists would get together to share ideas.  They would improvise, have little competitions, drink, eat, talk about politics, etc.

Have fun and let us know how it goes.
