Fun concert
on: September 24, 2005, 05:43:51 AM
Yesterday I attended a concert which, besides having great music, was loads of fun. it was the vienna chamber orchestra under Joji Hattori and he was brilliant as a conductor. he showed great emotion while conducting and played the violin solo for the violin concerto (mozart no.5). but the best part was the encore. it was a strauss gallop (i forget which one) but it was about some robbery. and would you believe it he took out an airgun and shot it four times while conducting(it wasn't loaded of course) ;D :D it was loads of fun. everyone was laughing away in the audience. and the orchestra also seemed to be enjoying playing. one of the best concerts i havbe ever attended. the programme was Schubert's 5th symphony, Mozart's violin concerto no.5 and Grieg's Holberg suite. it was fabulous. :)
You either do or do not. There is no try- Yoda
