Michael Valenti Preludes

Any one familiar with these?  #10 is on our state list for federation contest, and i have a student working on it.  Wrote to the composer and there is no recording available, and i had to tutor with onl the marks in score.  L'istesso tempos just seem too fast - though Michael wrote that they should be in same tempo as opening percussive material.  Anyone know this piece?
