Arensky Op25 No1
on: October 01, 2005, 11:17:59 PM

Hi all,

Could I be supremely cheeky and ask if anyone has a midi / mp3 of this piece? Its the Impromptu from 'Quatre morceaux pour piano'. Im going to give this one a try, but I cant locate a recording any where.

Also, if anyone is familiar with this piece, I would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

Thanks!

I take it that long tenth in the bass (b3) is being arpegiated? I must admit, I had a bit of a shock when I saw that at first.

But it sounds fine on the recording, so I think I shall take a leave out of Steve Combes' book  ;)
