Frank is the greatest composer ever, officially. Period. Done. Finished.
Seriously, listen to his famous Sonata in A major, for violin and piano (especially the 4th movement, greatest thing ever wrote).

Yup, and Debussy quoted "Frank" as one of his biggest musical influences. ;D

What transcription did you get Boliver?  I found one on the net and i didnt like it at all...

I love this piece
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

Haha if you really believe that, maybe consider learning how to spell his name correctly.  ;D

Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

He's not bad at all. Simply, far from the best, as he stated.

faure's theme and variations is interesting, too.  it has fugal writing and everything.  the beginning sounds like a prelude, but is more repetitive maybe? anyway, it is very symphonic sounding and you could imagine it orchestrated.
