ok, I'm getting back into piano after about 7 years away. Before I quit, I had been taking lessons for about 7 years. The last piece that I mastered was Rachmaninoff's Polichinelle in F# minor, Op. 3 No. 4. In the past few weeks I started with Warriors song by Heller and Wedding Day At Troldhaugen by Grieg.
I need a some suggestions for works that are a little more challenging than these that I can begin working on. I am a big guy, with big hands and large fingers, so fast, technical songs have never been my strong suit (Inventions give me fits). I like grandiose style songs.
Any suggestions? I have been working out of the Applause books #2. Is there a next logical step as far as a collection?
