Chopin Ballade no.1
on: October 06, 2005, 05:11:04 PM
I can't tackle the coda (allegro con fuoco section), how to play it fast and correctly without lots of notes mistakes? and how to make it still musical?
any advice about way practicing it??

Accentuate the weak beats while practicing. Keep the wrist supple to facilitate the rotation. Make sure that you have the left hand done separately because the leaps are often the cause of inaccuracies. The Chopin op. 10-10 etude might be a good preparation, though I haven't tried it.  And yes, search for this topic...you'll get many threads which have the same topic.
Waste of time -- do not read signatures.
