"Le pianiste virtuose"
on: October 07, 2005, 02:50:02 PM
Searching through the family archives I found "Le pianiste virtuose" (the virtuosi pianist) from Hanon. It is a book of exercices made to reinforce the small fingers and made the play even for all fingers of both hands. It is dated of 1929. Since it represents a huge amount of practicing, does anyone know this book and could tell me if it is a good one ?
PS: I begun a few days ago and fell my little fingers at work indeed.....
but the sounds are very boring.

Ok, I see that it is a well known method indeed. Very controversial. I think that I will be careful and no invest too much time in it for now... until I sort out everything about it. I just discovered the search engine in the forum. Thank you.
