Fundamentals of piano -- teachers
on: October 09, 2005, 05:12:01 PM
Many students who read my book email me asking where they can find teachers familiar with the methods in the book.  Therefore, I am starting a list of teachers (anywhere on this planet) who  wants to be on this list. I haven't created a link to the list yet because I just started and do not yet have enough names to make a list, but expect to do so soon. My initial instinct is that all the students need are name, address, email address, and phone number; perhaps also specialty.  Any other suggestions?

In case you are not familiar with it, you can view my book at

If you are not a teacher, but know such a teacher, please either email me at cc88m@aol.com or send by mail to C.C.Chang, 16212 Turnbury Oak Dr, Odessa, FL 33556, USA (with permission from that teacher).

1. Can We All Be Mozarts?

The answer is a surprising, “Probably yes.”!

You've got to be kidding me...
Asked if he had ever conducted any Stockhausen,Sir Thomas Beecham replied, "No, but I once trod in some."

tom selleck is also selling moustache ideas.  paris hilton is selling 'that's hot.'  you can sell anything if given the right atmosphere.  basically, that people don't have any countering ideas and nothing better to do except to try yours.  the people base for that is not a piano forum - but rather people that generally gather in convention centers.  you get a booth and you grab people that walk by and say 'can you lend me your ear.'  then, you show them one obviously bad way to play the piano - and then your way.  they will become immediately glommed to the idea and sell your idea for you to 5 more people.  referrals are everything.  you're not going to get the same number of referrals here - because people know they have more options when they've taken lessons for X number of years with other professionals.  in fact, they may try to perform what could be analagous to pre-fourth-of-july accidents on dummies to see if they are flammable and how dangerous the fireworks are to limbs and things.
