Groupings of Chopin Preludes
on: October 13, 2005, 01:16:04 AM
What are some good grouping of the preludes? I would like to play a set of them and would like some feedback. I was thinking of the Bb minor/f minor/ and d minor. But.. that seems a little heavy handed almost.

Try to have some major key prelude included in a group of minors, or a minor key prelude grouped in a set of majors.
Otherwise, I don't think there is a cognitive grouping, really. They were written as a set and are accepted individually or in sets of any grouping as far as I have ever read or heard.
