I must say, Stevie, you are extremely naive, and I don't even mean this negatively. Any competition has aspects of what you are trying to draw attention to. It's always been like this, and it will always be like this, as long as people judge subjective matters. Every single competition has twenty such stories. Get over it. As to why certain participants are judged unfairly (in both directions), there are myriads of reasons, so don't jump to any conclusion about what the true reason might be. However, I must say that anyone who conducts himself like Mr. Na does openly on the Internet should not be surprised whatsoever if some jury members don't take too well to that.
Well, I normally agree with you Xvimbi, but I think you are partially wrong here. I mean, it is true that it's idealistic to believe that every competition is judged completely on merit, but shouldn't the public and the organizers of the competition expect some level of fairness? True, there is probably no way to remedy this particular situation, but it can't hurt to attract attention to corruption - especially when it starts to touch the arts!!
da_commeyou damned douchebag! what howard said wasn't supposed to be a direct public statement from him *sigh*.
hahaha. yeah, but it still makes him sound like a whiny b*tch, which he is far from... but haha. nice random edit.
I am not saying that one shouldn't strive for more fairness. I am only saying that Stevie is trying to draw attention to something that is widely known already.
