Never heard his WTC, but his Bach playing is beyond the light.

Not heard his WTC except a few excerpts. I'm not a fan of his playing but alot of people seem to like him. :)

I have not heard his WTC, but i have heard his 48 or parts of it. If that is anything to go by, i must.

His Bach just seems to be so clear and the fact that he loves Bach's music, shows in the playing.

I am going to hold my hand up and admit that i actually thought these were 2 different pieces.

I must spend more time away from the Romantics.

Schiff's Bach is interesting.  Nothing flashy, he seems to approach the pieces as if he was playing in a salon.  To those looking for a lot of excitement: stay away.  :P

Don't take it too hard. I actually thought for a moment that I had missed something for years. See, that's how much credit I give you up front :). It took me 15 minutes to convince myself that those are the same, but I thought I'd ask anyway. If I had wanted to "xvimbi" you, I'd have put a lot of ;D and :P in my post.

Are you from UK? If so - have a look there, he's doing Beethoven concerts in Dec, Apr and May.
