Does anyone have any information on Duvernois.. the composer of piano books for beginning children. I have to prepare a presentation for my pedagogy class and I can't seem to find any information on him. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I don't know much about him, except that he did one book (I think called "The School of Mechanism") intended to
precede
Czerny. Schirmer spells it "Duvernoy," so perhaps you'd have better luck searching by that spelling.
