My piano accompanist sight read the piano part.   :o

She's my role model for piano!

I know this is a piano forum.  There's piano in this recording!

This was the 2nd time we played this piece together, and it was a rehearsal at my home.

She's the craziest sight reader I've met so far.  Very amazing to me.  I've tried throwing all sorts of music at her, and she plays them at full speed on the piano.

I wish I could sight read like that.  I'll have to ask her what the secret is.  I have asked but I just don't exactly understand what she's saying.  She says understanding music theory has a lot to do with sight reading. 8)

Very nice playing, Violonist! Don't know anything about violin technique, but it sounds very good. The pianist is a great sight-reader, btw! :D

Anyways, got any more violin recordings? I would love to hear them.

Thanks for the kind comments.  The recording wasn't at my best, but I figured we're all here with friends, but it captures some of my good points.  I haven't recorded much on the violin, but if I ever do, I'll make sure it has some piano in it too and post them.  I have recent .mp3 of me jamming violin to Damien Rice's song Volcano (pop / folk music), but his music is copy righted.  I literally just hit record on my recording device while listening to his music and playing along.  I wanted to see what I can do.  I heard his song once before and thought it could use another line to it so, I played along for the second time around listening and playing to it.  It has a interesting pentatonic melody that I smacked on top of it.  But I can only describe, I think I would get in trouble if I posted it.  But that's my only other current recording.

Thanks again for your encouragement?

How about any piano requests?  I really like that recording on here with the Barber Hesitation Tango!  I love that piece!! wow wow!  Maybe I'll play that next?  All four hands!

Hi Berrt!

Yah.. I got four hands!  You should see me play the violin and piano at the same time! err right!

I found a version of the hesitation tango by Barber for one person (meaning 2 hands) only.  It look SO HARD!!! ugh.  Makes that nocturne thing we're working on sound easy.  How's that coming along for you.

Good to hear from you Berrt!
