E coli is killing me
on: November 08, 2005, 03:29:08 AM
I have a bad case of E coli, I am very weak. The doctors say I might never recover from this and I could actually die. So, this might be my last time on this forum. I have to move to a bigger hospital. Good bye!

Best Wishes,

Lau

I'm gonna fall in love with a guy whose toe isn't just stubbed, it's falling off!! His ashes (and those of his toe) will be scattered across a romantic lake at the terminal toe-stub clinic and Iw ill play Scriabin's 10 sonatas and the two piano version of his Poem of Ecstasy. It's going to be SOOOOOO beautiful!!!! Except he's dead. Boohoo :-[

e-coli is terrible.  take it from tchaikovsky who drank a glass of unfiltered water and shortly thereafter died from cholera.  ok it might not be e-coli in water, but that goes to show that you have to cook your food really well or it might do a reverse sabotage.

natalie woods was deathy scared of dying by drowning.  and, what happened to her?

never tell anyone how you do not want to die...ok.

*remaining skeptical of deaths on piano forum (although i almost fell into the tub backwards today with my thigh high cast.   was thinking that it would probably break by neck.  what a wierd way to go).

lau, I sympathise. I have been slowly dying from a broken heart these past 900 years, and know how those drawn-out illnesses get you.

Best wishes,

My deepest sympathies Lau.

We'll always have your recipes.... to remember you by.  I will eat a hamburger in your memory.  Maybe... somehow in the crazy, mixed up world... maybe I'll be eating some of the harmless e coli that came from the original bacteria source as yours.

How Many Hours Should You Practice the Piano? – The Lines Between Science, Method and Passion

It is a timeless question, a persistent voice in the mind of every pianist: “How many hours must I practice to truly improve?” It springs from a perfectly legitimate desire to measure the commitment required to transform our ambitions into sound, whether that means playing a simple minuet or dreaming of the world’s most prestigious stages. Giulio Cinelli from Pianosolo.it guides us through this classic topic. Read more
