Inner-Mission by Elijah
on: November 09, 2005, 06:39:19 AM
So many times I've searched for
All the reasons why
Pain, hatred, war and suffering exist
It seems that we've devised
A culture that creates these things
A prison only in your mind. . .
Spoken:
A wise man once came to me in a dream
He said,
"Elijah, pay no mind to these illusions
that humans have created for themselves.
Illusions like need, disunity, and ignorance.
You must see past these illusions,
And remember the Truth..."
"What Truth?" I asked
"We Are All One, Elijah"
WE ARE ALL ONE

need, disunity, and ignorance, imo, are not an illusion. but, you seem a very poetic person. there are many things all of us would like to say to God, but since Elijah was a prophet who is said to come right before God (both at the time of Christ and now) - there is not much convincing to be done about truth. God sees that we don't have it without Him. it is His way of showing us what 6 thousand or so years of living our own ways have provided us. our own illusions. He will show us a better way.
one of the ways that i think he will start is with families being more united. they are like fractured bones right now. can you imagine the pleasure of children knowing who their parents are and their parents caring more about them. and, the disunity of people not getting along with in-laws, children, parents, and the like - will hopefully turn to people learning how to get along. i mean, if you can get along with your family - it's probably a good thing for society. ignorance is said to be bliss, right now. but maybe it's a misguided bliss.

Forgive me my unaccuracy, but I thought it was necessary for the message. This is a song text by a spiritual artist named Elijah, but it express my own thoughts, and the message I want to give attention.
As I understands it, need, disunity and ignorance are illusions in the sense that it makes us believe we are separate from what we never was and never will be separate from. And that is the divine beingness. I guess you could say that illusions is every eye that do not see love, which is everyones true nature. However, illusions, as everything, is filling a purpose.
Yes, many families are broken. This is a quote of Sai Baba:
"If there is righteousness in the heart,
There will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character,
There will be harmony in the home.
When there is harmony in the home,
There will be order in the nation.
When there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world."
