Definitely a thinker, with the proviso that once I make up my mind to do something I'm pretty well unstoppable.

i try to be both, but usually am one or the other for quite some time.  for instance, if i go into the library i get very distracted and off topic when i sit down with a stack of 5-10 books. then, i think, i should put in a couple of hours of practice, but if i feel tired, i go eat dinner.  i used to skip dinner and meals, but it's not very healthy.  if you lose your health it's not so good.  at least i did drink a lot of water and started eating less junk food and cookies.  i used to live on cookies.  sleep is good, too.

I think I'm a doer  ;)

Actually my husband and I are both really bad about thinking way too long before doing.

ok.  here's a test to see if you are a thinker or a doer.  (going back to the soundproofed room idea)  you have before you a calculator, a cell phone, two pencils and pad of paper, and a bag of chips.  you must accomplish three things with the hour.  what would they be and how much time would you spend on each?  add up the minutes.

*if all you did was eat the chips and fiddle with the calculator a bit and balance yesterday's spending in your head - you're a thinker.  if you actively used the phone and the pencils, and there was a significant amount of chips left - you're probably a doer.  what do you think?

Definitely a thinker.

Doers act without planning.
Thinkers plan without acting.

Absolutely, completely and totally a thinker. I didn't have to think about that one, though. :)

DEFINITELY a thinker. I think too much and do too little. For instance, I may THINK about doing my homework for days, but as for doing it...
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.
