missing people
on: November 09, 2005, 08:05:10 AM
it used to be just the victims that were missing, but how did that convict escape out of prison the day before execution?  i guess they found him, but who would have guessed he'd actually be able to break out.

have you ever gone missing?  do you think that it endears people to you?  i've thought about a trip to canada for a few weeks just to make my kids appreciate my work a bit more.  of course, they'd all be really mad and wish that i wouldn't have put them through the mental torture.

The space time continuum would be thrown in to a state of quantum flux if I went missing :o

I've always held the view that I have my son because of actions I performed through my own selfish desire to have a child - and that 99% of what I do is a consequence of the responsibility that I brought upon myself by following that selfish desire.

It's worked for 6 years, whether it'll work for the full 18 and possibly beyond I'm not so sure.

You might meet eddie though....

well, with a broken leg it's doubtful i'll make it down the front steps let alone into the van.  besides, i can't even sit in the front seats.  i have to get someone to open the trunk.  then i can slide in with my leg straight.  at least recent x-rays show it is healing straight.

yeah, eddie!  (do you mean prince edward?)  i used to date a guy in alaska by the name of ed.  i don't think he's living in canada, and i think he's married now.  anyway, i was wondering how you knew?  between you andm1469(remembering the banana seat bicycle and mud pie experiences).  i must have a rap sheet or something.

the fond memories come floating back.  the panic as he spun my car in a 360 in that icy parking lot.  why i did i let him drive?  the time when i read my chinese fortune and then he hid his in his shirt pocket.  i tried to grab it out when he was at the car door window leaning forward - but i kinda scared him to suddenly grab at him like that.  oh, yes, and that time he peeked in on my piano lesson and my teacher said 'do you know him?'

now that i've been married to my hubby john, i'm happy about the choice i made.  and, as you say, the choices that one makes should be appreciated for the blessings they are.  with my leg broken, my kids just think it's ok to do minimal housework.  911 nanny.

No, it's from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.

Why,” he said, “is there a sofa in that field?”
“I told you!” shouted Ford, leaping to his feet. “Eddies in the space-time continuum!”
“And this is his sofa, is it?” asked Arthur, struggling to his feet and, he hoped, though not very optimistically, to his senses.

dear leahcim,

you almost made me lean backwards (while laughing) in this computer chair with wheels and fall over the banister.  you know, i've actually seen what eddie has, too.  used to go for long bicycle rides and wonder about the couch along the way in this one particular area of norristown.  i thought to myself, the only thing wierder would be to see some people sitting on it.  or people to add pillows to it or something.

i just went on kneedoctors or something like that - and read a few excerpts from kneeinjurydiaries.  believe me, some of these people are really in the space/time contiuum for a while.  at least i didn't have to drive home after my accident.

ok.  the space-time contiuum must begin and end around nevada and arizona.  i drove through both, and was completely time warped several years ago.  the combination of the heat, narrowing highway in arizona, and mirages.  no wonder people see ufo's out there.

i purposely avoided pain medication at home so i don't become completely immersed in the space-time continuum.  of course, that means the reality of my existence is piano forum, television, a few minutes of practice, and a strangely increased appetite.  well, enough on this for now.
