The Genius of Alfred Cortot.

I have loved Chopin unconditionally from a child; Long before I was a pianist. Why do I still think that Cortot possesses an unsurpassable magic? What defines his almost indescribable interpretation of Chopin’s works?  In summary, what scientific attributes of his performance personify the spirit of the man that is, Chopin.

I'm looking forward to purchasing the new 3 cd masterclasses set on Sony. Finally Murray Perahia has put out something worthy of praise!
