You're always quick to start an ad hominem argument; aren't you?

Forum members and administrators: I think it's about time we cut this talker down to size.

You can't even insult me without screwing up: if we're on the couch then why would we have to worry about staining the sheets?

That's the worst comeback EVER. You even misspelled the first word. But other than that, I think he's definitely learned not to come 'round here with his silly "music posts", or whatever those are.

It is perhaps not unusual for threads to wander off-topic - but this one seems yet to get itself ON-topic. Might it be too much to ask that someone consider trying to answer the originator's question?

Çogluotobüsisletmesi  ------------

Oh, yes, I play it repeatedly.  [ NOT. ]

I don't mean to get into the quarrel here, but . . .  we are being put on, aren't we?

Is there really such a piece?

Is that Hungarian?  If it is on the level, what does it mean in English?

It astonishes me that no one appears to have thought to put the title into a reasonably reliable search engine to see what comes up. Yes, the composer does exist - he was born in 1945 in Kolkata, India and studied in Germany with Bernd-Aloys Zimmermann and Karlheinz Stockhausen - and the piece (which also exists) was composed in 1975-79, occupies some 30 minutes, won the Kranichsteiner prize in Germany the year after its completion, was appparently recorded on the German Wergo label (catalogue no. 60098) in 1982 (though by whom I do not know - nor do I know about its availability) and - almost inevitably, perhaps - is supposedly in the repertoire of the English pianist Ian Pace (according to one interview with him), although it does not feature in the repertoire list on his website.

Now - go find!

I should've done this in the first place, but then I would've missed Contrapunctus' wonderful decadence and eloquence: decadence referring to his collapse and eloquence his stupidity with words.

OK - but did you REALLY want to prioritise that, or was your principal concern that which you indicated in your originating statement in this thread - i.e. to find out more about this piece?

Never mind the unhelpful comments of others whose unhelpfulnes is in the fact that they do not actually address, let alone answer, your question; just go find the information that you want!

Good luck!
