Star-Spangled Banner Transcription

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me where I can get Rachmaninoff's transcription of "The Star-Spangled Banner." A downloadable file would be preferable.

Darling Thalbergmad,

Really, I am not following you.  It's just that you are always a step ahead of me.  You are a great and good leader, and if you would kindly deign, once again, to add "me, too!" to your list, then

"me, too!   please?"  What I'm really looking for is a good pianistic arrangement.  Is this it?

BTW, I have two students who are pursuing some Thalberg.  Time will tell.

Thanks.

Actually, there's really not much to the Rachmaninov transcription of this piece.  I would recommend checking out the Godowsky transcription.

What about Horowitz's arrangement of The Stars and Stripes Forever? I'd be thrilled to have that, if you have it.

When Practice Stagnates – Breaking the Performance Ceiling: Robotic Training for Pianists

“Practice makes perfect” is a common mantra for any pianist, but we all know it’s an oversimplification. While practice often leads to improvement, true perfection is elusive. But according to recent research, a robotic exoskeleton hand could help pianists improve their speed of performing difficult pianistic patterns, by overcoming the well-known “ceiling effect”.
