Interesting Question.... Did anyone arrange the Beethoven Symphonies for Four Hands???

I know that liszt arranged the Symphonies for Piano 2 hands... but is there a 4 hand arrangement???

Yes, sure, loads of hacks arranged Beethoven's symphonies for piano duet. However, most of these arrangements are very unimaginative in comparison with Liszt's work (for just two hands).

Does anyone know where I could try and get a copy of Beethovens 5th for four hands??? It would be interesting to see how imaginative the arranger in trying to capture the feel of the symphony.

I've played the 5th symphony for piano four hands (though we performed it on two pianos.) G. Schirmer publishes them in a two-volume set.
