Renaissance chanson
on: November 14, 2005, 08:59:27 PM
In a 4-part Parisian chanson, it is acceptable performance practice to substitute one of the voice parts with an instrument? For example, substituting the bass with a cello? The exact chanson I'm thinking about is "Tant que vivray" by Sermisy.
