How in the world do you do the quote?!
on: September 07, 2003, 06:07:46 AM
I think there are many ppl who wanna know this, how do you quote ppl's said msgs, including the date and the author and stuff?!

I know it's something like this (copied from a screwed up one)

Quote

blah blah blah
[.quote]

I know where to find the
Quote
button when posting, but do you actually fill in all those author and link and date info yourself?!  Because when you click on the
Quote
button in the reply page all it spits out is
Quote
without the names and stuff!  PLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSE HELP ME, it's driving me nuts!

I dont get it.
:) heh..

Do you mean you want the stuff that says "BobCob said on July 5th, blah blah" when you reply?  If you want the extra info, you do that when you are reading everyones responses, with the quote button.  If you said reply, then it is like it is given that you are quoting that person, so it just does

i usually insert html code in to quote:

Code: [Select]
[quote]blahblahblah[\quote]

that will show as

Quote
blahblahblah
