i thought one of them is when you are able to recognise a note played/sung by any instruments/anyone but not able to sing the note out perfectly no matter when.
and the other type is where the you could do both - recognise the notes and sing accurately.


i am not sure though lol.
because i am the sort of person who could recognise notes easier but not able to sing the pitch accurately without the help of the instrument...
