After realizing that Classical Music was "DEAD", The Great Kat discovered Metal Music and began updating Classical Music with Speed Metal. Kat began transcribing intricate violin solos to the guitar and thereby creating "SHRED/CLASSICAL" Music: Fast, Furious and NON-STOP Virtuosity.

She's a freak show. I went to her website last year and asked the question "why do you refer to yourself in the third person?" This message was swiftly deleted without a reply. >:(

Amongst the guitar community she's pretty much a running joke. Basically, she's weird and that's it. That interview is hilarious BTW, even Malmsteen's ego isn't that gigantic, and he has the talent to back it up.
